VietNamNet Bridge – The largest fashion show in Vietnam took place at The Garden centre in Hanoi on October 31, attracting the top models in Vietnam.

“Strange”, “breaking the old styles”, “very hot”, etc. are comments that the audience made after the show, named “Dreaming”, which combined various kinds of arts like fashion, hair design, light, dancing, circus, video art and others.

Four fashion designers - Juliane Kunze (Germany), Hoang Ngan from HCM City, Kelly Bui from Hanoi and Luu Anh Tuan (Hungary) - showed their dreams through the languages of fashion and arts.

Hoang Ngan’s “Dream” collection opened the show over music by DJ Tri Minh. “Dream” collection was performed like a circus show. “Nomadic” by Juliane Kunze, the only foreign designer, came afterwards. This collection focuses on red color and it was inspired by Romani girls, Flamenco dancers and bull-fighters.

Kelly Bui’s “Supernatural World” collection brought about many surprises. The collection was performed like a modern dance show. Anh Tuan’s “Story” collection was supported by installations and lighting arts.

Do Manh Cuong’s “Cloud” closed the impressive Dep Fashion Show 9.

Introduced for the first time in 2004, Dep Fashion Show has proved its prestige through eight annual shows. This is not only the playground for professional fashion designers at home and abroad but also foreign hair designers working in Vietnam and top directors, choreographers, artists and models in Vietnam.

Among organizers of Dep Fashion Show 9 are famous names like DJ Tri Minh, supermodel Xuan Lan, choreograhers Hoang Thi Ngoc, Quach Hoang Diep and Tran Thanh Nam, video art and stage designer Le Quoc Hung, French light director Domique Raby, French audio artist Jerome Breger and circus artist Ngo Le Thang.
