Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc is to pay working visits to Japan and Iran from October 8-15 at the invitation of the Japanese and Iranian governments.

In Japan, the Deputy PM is scheduled to hold talks with Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Presidents of the Upper House and Lower House of the National Diet of Japan,  Minister of Justice, and the President of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance, and the Governor of Osaka prefecture.

During the visit, Deputy PM Phuc will confer a Labour Order, first class on the Vietnam Embassy in Japan and meet with Overseas Vietnamese (OVs) community representatives in the Kansai region and visit some economic and cultural agencies in Japan.

In Iran, the Deputy PM is destined to hold talks with the Iranian Vice President and witness the signing of cooperative agreements between the two nations, work with Iranian leaders and visit the Vietnam Embassy in Iran.
