VietNamNet Bridge - After the success of the Ao Dai Festival at Festival Hue 2016, designer Duc Hung has left a deep impression to the audience at home and abroad. On May 14, he will go to the United States to participate in the 4th Ao Dai Festival in San Jose, California.

On May 15, the Ao Dai Festival entitled "Son Tinh - Thuy Tinh" will take place with the participation of nearly 100 models in the United States. The festival is held every two years. The theme of the festival is always deeply imbued with Vietnamese characteristics, especially tied to the famous legends and fairy tales of Vietnam.

The first festival had the theme "Hai Ba Trung" (Trung sisters – Vietnamese heroines), the 2nd festival "My Chau - Trong Thuy" (a couple in an ancient legend), the 3rd festival “Hon Vong Phu” (The Mountain of the Woman who is waiting for her husband). This time the theme is associated with the legend about "Son Tinh - Thuy Tinh" ("he God of the Mountain and the God of the Water).

In this event, designer Duc Hung will introduce 25 ao dai made of brocade, chiffon and embroidered silk.

This is the 3rd consecutive time that Duc Hung has been invited to the Ao Dai Festival in the US.
