From mid-June, Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province) enters the peak summer tourism season. This coastal city is famous for its diverse island tours, attracting both domestic and international tourists to places like Hon Tam, Hon Mun, Orchid Island, and Monkey Island.

Recently, several videos have gone viral on social media about a beach in Nha Trang with emerald green water, dubbed "mini Hawaii" in Vietnam. Many check-in photos at this beach have garnered thousands of likes.

The beach is called Mini Beach, a small beach located on Hon Mieu - one of the most beautiful islands in the bay, close to the mainland, and only about a 7-minute canoe ride from Nha Trang Tourist Port.

The beach is about 300 meters long with clear, clean water, a beautiful emerald green color, and fine white sand. There are thatched huts, white umbrellas, wooden chairs along the shore, and lush green trees, including tall coconut palms.

Ho Dac Duy, a tour guide specializing in island tours in Nha Trang, mentioned that this beach used to belong to a resort, but accommodation services have ceased. The beach has been popular for a long time, but it has recently gained sudden fame on travel forums.

Visitors can reach the beach either independently or through a tour.

For those choosing to go independently, they can travel from their hotel to the port and then take a wooden boat (200,000 VND for a small boat that fits 6-7 people), a canoe, or a local ferry. Most tourists prefer the canoe for its quick travel time of just 7-10 minutes, costing around 900,000 VND for a round trip.

Currently, the entrance fee to the beach is 200,000 VND per person. The restaurant on site has a beautiful design and a diverse seafood menu, although prices are relatively high.

Visitors can enjoy activities such as parasailing, banana boating, and scuba diving.

On Hon Mieu Island, visitors can also enjoy Bai Tranh beach, known for its fine white sand, and a shallow area with small pebbles. The seawater here is clear and gently sloping, ideal for swimming.

Additionally, visitors can explore an aquarium designed like a giant ship. Inside, there are four fish tanks on the basement level, showcasing hundreds of marine creatures like a miniature ocean. The second and third floors house a restaurant and souvenir shop.

Duy mentioned that typically, tourists combine a visit to Mini Beach in a three-island or four-island tour, lasting from 9 AM to around 4 PM.

"Visitors can join a shared tour covering Hon Mun - Hon Tam - Mini Beach, costing 670,000 - 750,000 VND per person. For private tours, the cost depends on the number of guests. The journey starts at 8 AM from the city center, reaching the port at 8:30 AM, and heading to the islands," Duy explained.

At 9 AM, visitors will reach Hon Mun, where the main activity is coral reef diving. With the confluence of two warm ocean currents, the island boasts around 2,000 species of coral and numerous tropical marine creatures. By joining a diving tour at depths of 6-8 meters, visitors can marvel at the vibrant underwater world and touch various starfish and fish.

At noon, visitors can move to Hon Tam for lunch, relaxation, or a mud bath. This island is known for its green forests, long sandy beaches, and calm waves, making it ideal for relaxation.

"In the early afternoon, visitors will take a canoe to Mini Beach. This area is perfect for photography and swimming. However, during peak season, the beach can get quite crowded," Duy noted.

Visitors are advised to research and choose tours that suit their needs; check tour information and read reviews from previous travelers; and bring essentials like sunscreen, personal items, and snacks.
