Discover the newly-discovered amazing and beautiful cave in Quang Binh

With its unique wild beauty, the newly-discovered Thoong Cave in Phong Nha-Ke Bang, the central province of Quang Binh, has attracted many domestic and foreign tourists.

Thoong Cave is one of the most unspoiled places of Phong Nha - Ke Bang. The Thoong valley is special with many caves located deep in the strictly protected subdivision of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, surrounded by a system of millions of years old limestone mountains and primary forest. The only way to access these caves is walking along the forest trails.

The People's Committee of Quang Binh province has allowed a tourist firm to provide the tour "Discovering Thoong cave" for 12 months, starting from January 1, 2023.

With this tour, visitors will experience various activities, from trekking in the jungle, swimming through underground caves, wriggling in dry caves, swinging over cliffs and camping in Phong Nha - Ke Bang forest, enjoying the feeling of soaking in the cool streams, or admiring beautiful green lakes.

A representative of the tour organizer said that the new tour to Thoong cave is special because of the unique and surreal beauty of both the cave system and the rocky mountain system. The feedback from visitors is very good. Most of them are surprised by the natural beauty here. Many domestic and foreign tourists have registered for this tour in 2023.

After one year of trial operation, Quang Binh authorities will consider licensing similar tours to the new cave or halt tourist activities to protect nature.
