Hon Noi island about 25km north-east from Nha Trang Bay is said to be home to the largest salangane population in Khanh Hoa.

From Cau Da port in Nha Trang city, you can take a boat for one and a half hour to get to the island.

April to late August period is the right time for visitors to the island as it is the salangane nest harvesting season.
