HGTV is distributed in Vietnam by Thaole Entertainment, which is also the distributor of Discovery’s Asian Food Channel (AFC).

HGTV is one the leading home and lifestyle entertainment channels in the region with popular shows such as The Property Brothers, Flip or Flop, Fixer Upper, House Hunters, and Restored by the Fords.

Most recently, HGTV was launched in Myanmar last month and in Singapore and Indonesia last October. With the introduction of HGTV in Vietnam, the channel is now available in seven markets in Southeast Asia.

From real estate and renovations to DIY projects, HGTV is the premier source for entertaining and lifestyle content. The channel introduces well-known experts, fascinating families, compelling renovations and stunning transformations to inspire viewers with fresh ideas and authentic stories on how to find and love their own dream home.

Le Thi Phuong Thao, CEO of Thaole Entertainment, said: “HGTV is a channel that we believe will be successful in Vietnam as more young people are moving out on their own to start a family. They are looking for inspiration and tips to make their homes their own personal oasis. We are very happy to make HGTV and AFC become the most successful and popular lifestyle brands for our viewers.”

Viewers in Vietnam will be able to watch HGTV on VTVCab (channel 139) and Viettel’s Next TV (channel 148).
