Titled Cam Tay Mua He (Hold the Hands of Summer), the show will feature popular performers Thanh Lam and Tran Thu Ha, whose partnership produced the hit songs Ngau Nhien (By Chance) and Hay Yeu Nhau Di (Let's Love). They will re-unite on stage and sing some of their famous duets together.
The duo will also sing Em Toi (My Younger Sister) by composer Thuan Yen, who is also Lam's father, and a suitable counterpart called Chi Toi (My Older Sister) by Tran Tien.
Some new songs especially written for the pair, including Giac Mo (Dream) by Quoc Bao and Hat Cung Em (Sing with You) by Niel Lan Doky, will make their debut during the show.
Lam and Ha will also get the opportunity to sing solo. The former will unveil some of her own new folk songs which will be featured on her upcoming album, while Ha will perform some of her electronic music output.
The show has been directed by the composer Quoc Trung, Lam's ex-husband. Last year the pair produced a show featuring Lam, My Linh and the Viet Nam Idol 2010 winner Uyen Linh.
This year's performances will take place at the Ha Noi Opera House on May 4-5.
