During his World Tour, he will stage shows in 20 countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Netherlands, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
He will perform 30 songs for 90 minutes in each show, and will also be accompanied by famous mixers.
"I have worked hard to prepare. It will be great when Vietnamese DJs find success at home and in other countries, and with international turntable talents,” he said.
“Electronic music is becoming commonplace among youth. Some young Vietnamese DJs are emerging mixmasters and they can develop their career in a professional way,” he added.
Remixer and music producer Wang Tran was born in 1984 and began DJing at 19.
Tran started as a turntablist, combining hip-hop, breakbeats and dance. Later, he became involved in playing electronic music.
He has worked with the world’s top DJs such as Tiesto and Brian Transeau.
In 2012, he was named the country’s number one and highest-paid DJ by website The DJ List, which was established in 1997.
He is owner and founder of the Digital Music Century Saigon (DMC Saigon), a centre for DJ training and music production.
Through the company, he has worked with pop stars such as Thu Minh, Ho Ngoc Ha, My Tam and Vietnamese-American singer Duong Trieu Vu.
He has produced music for Vietnamese versions of UK and American TV shows, including Viet Nam Got Talent, The Voice and Viet Nam Idol.
His tour will begin late May and run through July.
