Vietnam's representative Do My Linh has been named in the top 20 of the Beauty with A Purpose Competition at the Miss World 2017.
On October 19, Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh left Vietnam for China to attend the world pageant.
The top 20 of the Beauty with A Purpose competition includes those from Vietnam, British Virgin Islands, Brazil, Cook Islands, Finland, Fiji, France, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand and Zimbabwe.
The list was based on their social activities and charitable projects through clips sent to the contest. The winner of the Beauty with A Purpose will be named at the final round of the world pageant scheduled to take place in Sanya City, China on November 18.
Do My Linh however failed to be listed among the top 30 of Top Model competition which was held on November 11.
My Linh targeted a top five finish at Miss World 2017.
My Linh, 21, is a student of Hanoi University of Foreign Trade. She is 1.71 metres tall and weighs 52 kilos. Since was crowned in 2016, she has actively participated in social and charitable activities.
