VietNamNet Bridge – Tran Thi Tinh (31) hailing from Lai Vung district, the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap last Monday gave birth to four baby girls in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tu Du hospital.

The babies weighed from 1.2kg to 1.7kg and were taken out by doctors in an operation.

Previously, the woman conceived naturally and discovered she was going to have four children.

Last Monday, she was moved from the Dong Thap General hospital to Tu Du hospital having preeclampsia at her 32nd week.

Dr Le Thi Cam Giang at the hospital’s neonatology department said the four newborns are being taken care of and being treated with bili lights to prevent jaundice. The four can breathe by themselves and drank milk from a bottle.

Previously, Tinh has given birth to a 12-year old son and a 6-year old daughter.
