The morning of January 15 saw the first double-decker bus route put into operation in Ho Chi Minh City.
Many foreign tourists are keen to enjoy the service with buses guiding visitors through a journey of 24 streets and 30 tourist attractions throughout the southern metropolis with guests free to hop on and hop off at any stop they choose
Popular sites during the tour include Notre Dame cathedral, the Independence Palace, the municipal post office, Ho Chi Minh City’s Vietnam History Museum, Thao Cam Vien Park, the War Remnants Museum, Bui Vien Walking Street, Ben Thanh Market, the Saigon Opera House, in addition to the Bitexco Financial Tower and its renowned Skydeck.
One of the perks of the new bus system is tour guides provide customers with 12 free of charge services, including a city map and audio guides in multiple languages.
Each seat is equipped with a translation system in several languages as a means of introducing visitors to the popular sightseeing destinations around the city.
The double-decker bus service is launching with a variety of ticket prices on offer to guests in order to provide plenty of options for visitors.
The introduction of the new service is expected to attract large numbers of tourists who wish to explore Ho Chi Minh City ahead of the Lunar New Year
