VietNamNet Bridge – Two passenger buses crashed on a highway in Krong Pak District in the Tay Nguyen Central Highlands of Dak Lak on Monday, sending one plunging into a ditch and many passengers were injured.

Giao Thong (Traffic) newspaper reported there were no fatalities but a number of people were taken to hospital, and both buses were badly damaged.

Witnesses said the damaged bus belonged to the Quy Thao transport company and was carrying 30 passengers to Buon Ma Thuot City.

The other was operated by the Hung Phuc transport company running from Dak Lak to Da Nang City and carrying about 40 passengers.

A passenger on the Hung Phuc bus told the newspaper that he had been sleeping and was woken suddenly by a loud bang and people screaming.
