VietNamNet Bridge – Artist Nghiem Diep Anh displays nearly 20 dragon paintings to welcome the New Year 2012, the Year of the Dragon, at an exhibition at 3D building, Duy Tan Street, Hanoi.

Diep Anh, 40, introduces 19 dragon paintings at her personal exhibition in Hanoi,
which opens today, January 3.






Dragon in Diep Anh’s artworks look different from traditional dragons of Vietnam.





Her dragons are very colorful.































In her eyes, dragons are very close to human. They are strong and natural. In Vietnam’s legends,
dragons are cream of fish. Of millions of carps, there is one that can leave for 100 years to become a dragon.






The painter worked in over six months to have these paintings.
