Despite being due to be held today, host nation the Philippines have announced that instead the draw ceremony will be held on October 15.

Vietnam’s U22 team have been placed in the third seed group alongside Myanmar at the Sea Games 30. Elsewhere, Thailand and host nation the Philippines will be in the first seed group, while Malaysia and Indonesia are in the second seed group.

The SEA Game’ football competition will begin on November 25 and conclude with the final on December 10.

The men’s football tournament will consist of 11 teams divided into two groups, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the semi-finals.

In this year’s SEA Games, Vietnam is sending a delegation of 857 members, including officials, experts, coaches, and athletes, to compete in 43 events.VOV
