Duy of Becamex Binh Duong beat his teammate Huynh Minh Thinh 6-0, 4-6, 7-5.

Duy dominated early and took the first set without dropping a game, before Thinh fought back to level the match.

In the final set, Duy used his greater experience to outlast Thinh and take the trophy.

Meanwhile, Tran Thuy Thanh Truc of Hung Thinh – HCM City overcame overseas Vietnamese Tiffany Linh Nguyen of Becamex Binh Duong 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 to triumph in the women’s side.

In the U16 division, Tat Thai Nguyen of Hung Thinh – HCM City defeated his teammate Tran Tien Thinh 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 to win the title.

The nine-day event was organised by the Viet Nam Tennis Federation, HCM City Tennis Federation and the municipal Department of Culture and Sport.
