VietNamNet Bridge – A seism of around 3.0 on Richter scale was measured in Quan Son district of Thanh Hoa province on November 22 evening.

This was the third earthquake within past three months in this border district.

The district chair Lo Dinh Mui said the seism took place at 6:20pm. It lasted for several seconds only and didn’t cause any damage.

On September 19 and 22, earthquakes happened in Quan Son and Quan Hoa districts, Thanh Hoa province, also of 3.0 onRichter scale.

Local residents said that they felt the houses and trees shaking. The walls of some houses were cracked.

Quan Son district chair said earthquakes occurr in the district every several years but only this year three earthquakes were recorded.
