The East Sea has been forecasted to see a storm next week, according to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting

A tropical depression is currently skirting the Philippines, strengthening and now being designated as Storm Koinu. The storm is set to enter the north of the East Sea next week, becoming the fourth in the East Sea this year.

From now to the year-end, Vietnam would see a maximum of four storms, with one or two likely to directly affect Vietnam.

A recent tropical depression on the East Sea has caused a widespread rainy front in Vietnam over the past week, resulting in serious flooding for many areas.

In October, the country’s average temperature would be 0.5-1 degree centigrade higher than the same period of last year.

This year, the northern and central regions of Vietnam will see a warmer and later winter.
