VietNamNet Bridge – A typhoon named Doksuri is quickly entering the East Sea and will make strong wind and waves from this afternoon, June 28.





According to the National Hydro-meteorological Forecast Center of Vietnam, Doksuri typhoon was around 600km to the east of Luzon Island of the Philippines yesterday afternoon, June 27.

The typhoon is moving to the northwest, at the speed of 20km per hour. It will approach Luzon Island on the afternoon of June 28, with stronger winds. In the next two days, it will enter the East Sea, with wind speed of up to the tenth grade.

Under the influence of Doksuri, the northeast area of East Sea will have strong winds of up to the 8th grade from this afternoon, June 28. In addition, with southwest monsoon in the Truong Sa (Spratly) Islands, the waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau will have strong winds.

On the mainland, it will be sunny in northern Vietnam but the temperature will not be too high in the next couple of days. Hanoi and the northeastern region will have showers, with temperatures of 25 to 35 degree Celsius.

The weather in the central Vietnam will be still hot, with the highest temperature of up to 37 degree Celsius. In the Central Highlands and the southern region, the temperature will be 24-32 degree Celsius.
