Mui Nghe Beach in the southeast of the Son Tra Peninsula boasts big rocks in the shape of lions overlooking the sea. Summer and spring are the best times to visit Mui Nghe, as dry and cool climates are ideal for traveling and exploring the destination.

From the heart of Danang, tourists have to travel around 10 kilometers to get to Mui Nghe.

Those choosing to travel to Mui Nghe by speedboat can witness the majestic beauty of the Son Tra Mountain. However, the boat docks nearby because of the big rocks, and tourists have to walk to the beach.

A motorbike is also a good choice. Via motorbike, travelers can follow Vo Nguyen Giap Street stretching along the coast to get to Mui Nghe. On the way, they will pass Son Tra Mountain and the Linh Ung Pagoda. After that, they turn right to a path leading to an age-old banyan tree. At the end of the path, they turn to another smaller path in a forest to reach Mui Nghe. While travelling by motorbike, tourists can admire the scenery on the way. They can ask the friendly locals for directions if they get lost.

While Mui Nghe offers the most gorgeous sunrise in Danang, the highlight is a natural pool with a crystal clear blue sea covered with high rocks.

Tourists can enjoy a nice picnic by the beach as well as fishing. As the untapped location has no lifeguard, tourists should be careful and avoid camping overnight.

The majestic mountains, big rocks in strange shapes, romantic sunrises and the crystal clear blue sea make Mui Nghe a destination definitely worth a visit.
