Cooperation between Russia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will help maintain peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son.

 President Tran Dai Quang hosted a warm reception in Hanoi on April 19 for Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Konstantin Vnukov, assuring his guest that Russia is a high priority in Vietnam’s diplomatic policy.

 Vietnam and Russia should enhance information and experience sharing in preventing and fighting crime, Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang said at talks with Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev in Hanoi on March 21.
