Vietnam ranks 58th out of 113 countries and territories in the EF English Proficiency Index in 2023 with 505 points out of 800.

Vietnam scored 505 out of 800, three points higher than last year and above the global average, keeping it in the “moderate proficiency” category along with 32 others, according to the EF English Proficiency Index (EPI) by Education First (EF).

Vietnam climbed six places this year to rank 60th out of 111 non-native English speaking countries and territories in Education First's EF English Proficiency Index (EPI).
