VietNamNet Bridge – Hang Duong Market in coastal district of Can Gio is the best destination for seafood lovers in HCM City.

Located near 30/4 Beach, it is a two-hour bus journey from downtown HCM City. Open all day, it gets really crowded in the morning when the seafood arrives directly from boats that have carried it from the sea to the local river wharf.

The catch is sorted and put in plastic basins (seen photograph).

Many people find the noise and bustle of the market as people bargain and make purchases invigorating.

Travellers can also find cooked seafood here.

Foreigners sometimes visit the market, locals said.
