VietNamNet Bridge – More than 100 domestic and foreign businesses will attend an international exhibition on energy efficiency and environment to be held in Hanoi on May 23-26.

Entech Hanoi 2012 will be a place to promote energy saving products and equipment using advanced and environmentally friendly technologies, said the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade at a press briefing in Hanoi on May 14.

It also helps raise public awareness of using technology to conserve energy and reduce environmental pollution, said the organiser.
On display will be energy technology equipment, electrical technologies, utensils, renewable energy, new energy and environmental technologies, for example solar water tanks, solar batteries, and small hydroelectric plants.

The organizing board also set up a special zone to introduce technologies to save energy and reduce environmental pollution, and provide advice on technology transfer.

During the event, there will a contest on saving energy for young people and families, and seminars on using energy efficiently.
To encourage businesses to attend the event, Hanoi will offer half of participating fees.
