Culture is an important factor for enterprises and entrepreneurs, according to Hoang Anh Tuan, president of CEO Link Global Network and Viet Nam Fund for Culture.

“Each enterprise has its own way to build up the culture but it must start from the leader,” he said.

“Apart from salary, employees also need to work in a cultural and civilised environment. Culture creates motivation and solidarity between employers and employees in each company.”

Vu Minh Giang, chairman of Science Council of the Ha Noi National University, said Vietnam is a rich country culturally and it should take full advantage of its traditions during co-operation with international partners.

“Pop music doesn’t originate from South Korea but K-pop is known worldwide as a brand of South Korean culture.

“Vietnamese enterprises should build culture as their own identities and make culture the strong point to compete in the world market. At the same time, we can promote Vietnam as a country of age-old culture.”

Dao Xuan Hung, editor-in-chief of Người Hà Nội (Hanoians) newspaper, host of the conference, said culture is an invisible valuable property of enterprises.

“Building the culture of the enterprise on the basis of the traditional culture helps the enterprise develop sustainably and prevent negation,” he said.
