Jazz concert celebrates Vietnam-Russia relationships

The Consulate General of the Russian Federation in HCMC held a jazz concert at Sax n Art Jazz Club in HCMC on December 8 as part of activities to celebrate the Vietnam-Russia Cross Year 2019-2020.

The concert featured Russian guitarist Dmitry Maloletov and Vietnamese saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan. The two established artists performed traditional and modern pieces, as well as Vietnamese folk songs.

A similar concert will take place at Van Lang University in Binh Thanh District on December 12, beginning at 7 p.m.

The Vietnam Year in Russia and the Russia Year in Vietnam, spanning from the second quarter of 2019 until the end of 2020, feature a wide range of activities aiming to enhance the friendship, traditional fraternity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. SGT
