VietNamNet Bridge – Some reputed bankers in Europe laid high bets on Myanmar’s winning over Vietnam in the first game of Group B of the ASEAN Football Cup (AFF Cup) 2010. Computers also predict higher possibility of winning for Vietnam.

The Vietnamese national squad will participate in AFF Cup 2010 as the current champion but the team is facing many difficulties. It will join the game without its pillar like striker Cong Vinh or midfielder Viet Thang. Recently the team has played poorly at friendly matches.

Myanmar is considered an unknown of the game because it didn’t take part in international friendly games. The team’s coach Myint Aung also stated that his team will compete with Vietnam and Singapore to enter the semi-finals.

However, as the host team, Vietnam is highly appreciated by European bankers in the game against Myanmar on December 2. The UK’s Betsson lays the bet of 1 : 6.15 for Myanmar’s winning and only 1: 1.45 if betters choose Vietnam as the winner.

Bankers’ computers also forecast that Vietnam has a 51 percent opportunity to win while Myanmar has only 21 percent. Computers also predict that Vietnam will defeat Myanmar with the score 2-1.
