VietNamNet Bridge – The European Film Festival 2013 will take place in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City on May 15-26.

 

This year’s event themed ‘Europe on Screen’ will introduce 16 films in many genres presenting Europe’s cultural diversity from 14 different EU Member States at National Cinema Center in Hanoi, Cinebox in Ho Chi Minh City and Le Do Cinema in Da Nang.

Movies including children’s animated films, drama, romance, comedy and documentary have gained growing acclaim, notably by being selected in international film festivals and winning awards all over the world.

Held for the first time in 2000, by the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam, the Embassies of EU Member States and the European Cultural Institutes, the film fest is recognized as one of the most successful multi-cultural events in Vietnam.

This event is part of a broader series of the ‘Europe Days 2013’ program which celebrates Europe Day on May 9.
