The incident occurred as the aircraft was preparing for its scheduled 4:34 PM departure to Taiwan (China). The collision resulted in a dented wing and the collapse of the high-pressure light pole.

Airport authorities at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and relevant units swiftly coordinated to address the situation. Fortunately, all passengers on board were safe and unharmed.

The Southern Airports Authority has documented the incident and promptly reported it to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.

Eva Air, an airline from Taiwan (China), was established in 1989 and is a member of the Evergreen Group, renowned for its global cargo transportation services.

The airline's headquarters is located at Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei. Eva Air operates flights to over 60 international destinations across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania.

Eva Air has launched direct flights from Taipei to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
