VietNamNet Bridge – A wide range of cultural and sporting events will be held across the country to mark the 67th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

Audiences in the capital city of Hanoi will have chances to enjoy 34 art performances at many indoor and outdoor venues as well as cultural centres on August 18-19 and 64 others on September 1-3.

A number of artistic events featuring traditional music will also be held to serve people in remote districts such as Ba Vi, Thach That and Phuc Tho.

* A film week will be held nationwide from August 28 to September 5 to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.

The event, jointly organised by the Cinematography Department under the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Tourism, the Fafilm Vietnam Company, the Vietnam Feature Film Studio, and the Documentary and Scientific Central Studio will showcase popular films such as ‘Duong Thu’ and ‘Ky Uc Truong Son’.

* A cultural week to help the young generation understand more about the revolutionary tradition will open at the Youth Cultural House in Ho Chi Minh City.

Numerous photography exhibitions featuring historic moments of the August Revolution and National Day along with various sporting competitions including futsal, table tennis, volleyball, shuttlecock and others will also be held during the cultural week.
