The exhibition, hosted by the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, was attended by NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and former NA Chari Nguyen Sinh Hung.

The exhibits, found during the construction of the NA between 2008 and 2009, are displayed in an archaeological stratigraphic principle (chronological order).

Covering an area of 1,700 square metres, the display space of the NA’s first basement level introduces objects dating from the 11th to 18th centuries throughout the Ly, Tran and Le Dynasties.

Meanwhile, nearly 2,000 square metres of the second basement is used to showcase archaeological discoveries dating to the 7th, 9th and 10th centuries during the Dinh and Le Dynasties.

With the support of lighting effects and modern graphic arts, the exhibition brings a new look to the NA House, which is an important section of the Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.

The exhibition also promotes the historical value of Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
