Photos on the development of Hanoi’s Old Quarter from the 11th century until now are being displayed around Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword) in an exhibition with the theme “Ke Cho - Old Quarter”.

The exhibition is divided into five periods: 11th-16th century, 17th-19th century, 1884-1954, 1954-1986 and 1986-2014.

The event showcases the development of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, changes in architecture and economy, as well as people’s daily lives.
