Nearly 200 photos highlighting Hanoi’s renewal and development are being showcased at an exhibition that opened on July 26 to mark the 10th anniversary of the city’ administrative-boundary expansion (2008-2018).

The photos features the beautiful natural landscapes of Hanoi, the city’s political and economic activities, as well as its cultural highlights.

Statistics on the city’s socio-economic situation and its achievements, as well as documentary films on Hanoi’s development over the past ten years, are also on display at the exhibition.

Addressing the event, Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, To Van Dong, affirmed that the expansion of the administrative boundary carried out under the 12th National Assembly’s Resolution in 2008 was a historic and sound decision with significant impacts on the construction and development of the country and on Hanoi city in particular.

He stressed that over the past decade, Hanoi has achieved comprehensive outcomes in its renewal and development process, striving to become a green, modern, and civilised city.

The exhibition will run until August 3 at Hanoi Museum, Pham Hung Street, Nam Tu Liem district.
