Works on display include documents, objects, photos, and records of interviews of historical witnesses, soldiers, and youth union members who joined the two national resistance wars against the US and the French.

They are arranged in the three major themes of "The Song of the Youth", "Starlight in Prison", and "Trust and Aspiration".

The exhibits aim to shed light on the development of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union as well as the contributions made by generations of Vietnamese youth towards national independence freedom.

It is also designed to encourage today’s Vietnamese youngsters to uphold their ancestors’ traditions and make further efforts to make Vietnam a strong and prosperous country.

The exhibition will run until June 30 at Hoa Lo prison, 1 Hoa Lo street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi.
