An exhibition on graffiti paintings by three artists in HCMC will take place on March 26 at Vin Gallery in the city’s District 2.

The “Trialogue” exhibition will present works by artists Kristopher Kotcher, Holm The Tooth, and Phan Minh Tuan.

Although they are all graffiti paintings, the exhibits of the three artists have their own differences.

The paintings by Phan Minh Tuan are created from minimalist lines to describe the human body. ‘Holm The Tooth’ prefers to mix his painting skills with other techniques, from painting on bricks and sticking paintings on the wall to using foams or printing graffiti stickers.

Kristoher Kotchers will showcase his works that reflect his experience in Southeast Asia regarding drawing paintings, printing paintings and statues.

The show helps do away with prejudices against graffiti, which is always referred to as street culture, as such paintings are brought into an art gallery. The combination between street art and the atmosphere of a gallery may give visitors an interesting experience.

The exhibition starts at 6 p.m. on March 26 and lasts until April 11. Vin Gallery is located at 6 Le Van Mien Street, District 2, HCMC.
