According to experts from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, a low-pressure area in the west expanding southeastward will result in extremely hot weather during the day, accompanied by showers and thunderstorms in the evenings.

Daytime: The highest temperatures will range between 37-39 degrees Celsius, with heat exceeding 35 degrees from 11 AM to 5 PM.

Nighttime: Temperatures will remain between 28-30 degrees Celsius.

In addition to Hanoi, the Northern Delta region will experience similarly hot conditions, with some areas reaching temperatures above 39 degrees Celsius and the lowest relative humidity between 50-55%.

The meteorological agency warns that this heat wave is likely to persist until the end of the week. The predicted temperatures in the forecast may differ from the actual outdoor temperatures by 2-4 degrees, or even higher, depending on surface conditions such as concrete, asphalt, and glass.

The combination of heat and low humidity increases the risk of fires and explosions in residential areas due to the heightened demand for electricity and the potential for forest fires. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures can cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke.
