VietNamNet Bridge – A lot of forged websites and blogs have appeared on Internet with fraudulence purposes, which have discredit many institutions and individuals, thus making the environment become unsafe.


A report released by the Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Team VNCERT showed that in 2011 alone, VNCERT dealt with 755 computer troubles, which was triple that of 2010. Especially, the center found 385 falsified websites, which were mostly set up to swindle people and discredit institutions and individuals. This has become a big headache to enterprises.

A representative of VNG said the company recently has discovered a lot of websites forging VNG’s or Zing’s services which have different domain names. The common characteristic of the link addresses are not from http://me.zing.vn. The forged websites have been set up in order to steal account information or defraud people. Those, who are not vigilant enough, would remit money into fake accounts.

When users log in to the websites, their accounts would be stolen, which would allow the cheaters, in the names of users, to contact the friends and relatives of users and swindle them as well.

VNG has cited tens of forged websites, like Quazingme.net, hopquazing.com, payxu.come.vn, quazing.org, nhanqua.in, nhanchaukvtm.tk, quazingme.net, zingme.us.ms…

Some days ago, FPT Online served a warning about the forging of the GATE payment portal website. Some evildoers have built the websites with the interface and content similar with the payment portal pay.gate.vn, to dwindle people.

One of the forged websites, pointed out by FPT Online is http://www.napbacgate.com. If someone accidentally logs in and paid from the website, he would not only lose the money, but also lose the Gate Passport account.

A representative of GATE has affirmed that GATE only serves at http://pay.gate.vn, while all the others are forged.

Meanwhile, VTC has informed about the forging of its 23dzo.go.vn. A website named “23dzo.tk” has deliberately created the ground and stocks similar to the VTC’s website at http://23dzo.go.vn. A lot of people have logged into the website and cheated when purchasing products from here.

Most recently, the military telecom group Viettel has informed that http://tongdai900.clanteam.com has assumed Viettel’s name to provide wrong information about Viettel’s sale promotion programs to appropriate customers’ money.

The above said is using the logo and the images of Viettel and other mobile network operators in Vietnam, informing that the website is developed by Viettel and MobiFone. It showed the guidance to people how to pay in for pre-paid and post-paid subscribers to appropriate people’s money.

Especially, a lot of forged websites introducing themselves as the official websites of beauty contests or competitions have appeared recently.

In early 2012, the organization board of the 2011 Ngoi sao nhi (betty stars) online photograph competition discovered that Sao nhi 2012, http://saonhi.vn has copied 98 percent of the content of the official website of the competition at http://ngoisaonhi.com/2011/.

On saonhi.vn, one could see the banner of the sponsor – Eveil – a development and creation center, which was also one of the sponsors of the 2011’s competition. Duong Thi Quynh Hoa, Director of the center, has affirmed that Eveil has not heard about Sao nhi 2012 plan.

Some days ago, singer Khong Tu Quynh complained that numerous forged blogs allegedly owned by the singer have appeared recently. Meanwhile, Quynh said he only has blogs on Facebook and Zing Me.

Experts have pointed out that Facebook could be the fertile soil for swindlers. The biggest social network in the world allows creating the accounts in the names of everyone, from famous politicians to singers or actors.
