VietNamNet Bridge – A new serial gathering the most beloved actors and actresses of the Vietnamese film industry will be broadcast tonight on the VTV1 channel.

Nguoc Chieu Nuoc Mat (Crying on the inside) has received a lot of support from the Viet Nam Film Studio Centre (VFC) in terms of cast, props and soundtracks, according to director Vu Minh Tri.

Four songs and piano pieces have been written exclusively for the show, and are performed by singers Minh Vuong and Si Giang.

The series tackles sensitive issues such as adultery and single parenthood, but above all is a heartwarming story about love and family bonds.  

“This is my first serial shot in 4K resolution,” Tri said. “It promises to bring audiences spectacular and beautiful motion pictures and a wonderful viewing experience.”

The all-star cast is the main draw for the 34-episode serial. It includes Manh Truong, Thu Quynh, Huyen Lizzie, Trang Cherry, Ha Viet Dung, Excellent Artist Hoang Hai and People’s Artist Lan Huong. They are famous for their roles in recent television blockbusters such as Song Chung Voi Me Chong (Living with Mother-in-law) and Zippo, Mu Tat Va Em (Zippo, Mustard and You).
