According to the Central Meteorological and Hydrological Center, temperatures in the northern mountainous provinces, including Lai Chau and Lao Cai, have fallen below 10 degrees Celsius. Many places have snow and frost. Despite the cold weather, many people are flocking to the area to see snow.

Director of the Hoang Lien National Park - Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh – said that to ensure the safety of travelers, all tourist activities in the Park will be canceled until January 27.

Travel companies have brought tourists to Sapa, instead of the Hoang Lien National Park and the Fansipan.
