organized at the HCM City Youth Cultural House on August 28, introducing
latest songs about Vietnam’s sea and islands.
VietNamNet Bridge – The “Fatherland looked from the sea” show was organized at the HCM City Youth Cultural House on August 28, introducing latest songs about Vietnam’s sea and islands.
The show attracted thousands of people, including naval soldiers from the Naval Base 696
and students of the Naval Technology High School.
The show script was written by famous poet Tan Dang Khoa, introducing 22 new
songs by Quynh Hop and Nguyen Hong Son, with lyrics written by some soldiers-poets.
The 22 songs were performed by professional and amateur singers, which praise the
love for Vietnam’s sea and islands and the image of naval soldiers.

Three-year-old girl, Bao Ngu performed “My father is a naval soldier”.

Singer Phuong My performed “Sand clock rock” by Nguyen Hong Son, an entry of the
“This is Vietnam's sea” competition, a song writing contest organized by VietNamNet
and the Vietnam Writers’ Association.

On this occasion, Artista group introduced their single “Fatherland looked from the sea”, a
song by Quynh Hop and Nguyen Viet Chien.
