Precious agarwood collection in Vietnam worth up to $1 million

At the showroom of the ‘Northern Agarwood King’, one can see sections of agarwood worth up to $1 million that cannot be found anywhere else in Vietnam.

The agarwood is extremely valuable and has not undergone any manipulation.

The businessman and owner said he spent 20 years to collect agarwood which is valuable for its natural, rustic, sacred and noble scent.

It is not just that you have money and want to buy incense, but fate has to intervene, he said. He said not all people can buy these products though they have money. One needs to be lucky.

There are other unusual collections in Vietnam:

Banana tree

Four months ago, the banana tree of Phan The Anh in Huong Son district of Ha Tinh province began blooming and growing. Each bunch of bananas had 8-10 bananas 3-5 centimeters long each.

Now there are more bunches that are bigger and heavier, hanging close to the ground. Since the bananas are heavy, the trunk is weak, Anh has built wooden stakes around the tree to prop up the bananas. The bananas have attracted many locals who come to see and take photos with them.

Pine trees

The market of pine treesis heating up with prices ranging from hundreds of thousands to tens of million dong.

Since the bananas are heavy, the trunk is weak, Anh has built wooden stakes around the tree to prop up the bananas. The bananas have attracted many locals who come to see and take photos with them.

The special pho is served only at the shop on Bat Dan street with traditional service.

The famous brand of Bat Dan pho contains fried pho with tapioca starch. The sauce made of tapioca starch is original and attractive. One plate of fried pho with beef is VND70,000, a relatively high price. However, 300-400 plates are sold each day.

Sweet and sour grated salad shop

The shop located on Hang Bun street is always crowded in the afternoon and evening. The owner, Do Trong Viet, said the career was handed down from generation to generation over the last 40 years.

The salad is made of 10 types of cow organs and different spices and fennel.
One of the original elements of the salad is the crispy fried garlic, spongy and spicy.

Viet told Dan Tri that someone sought to buy the recipe from his father in 1992 and offered a motorbike, which then was worth one tael of gold. But his father refused.

All the details of the house are handcrafted without adhesive.
