The photograph taken in October 2022 in Moc Hoa district of Long An, a province in the Mekong Delta, features women harvesting water lilies, with the angel of the picture making it look like a flower dress on the water.
Her photograph successfully beat 60,000 other pieces of work from photographers across the world to win the Grand Prize.
The competition, the eighth of its kind, was open to any content shot with a drone or a handheld camera. It marked the world's largest aerial photography award held annually by DJI, a technology company based in Shenzhen, China.
Previously, Khanh Phan, a 38-year-old residing in Thai Binh province, was awarded some international prizes, including the Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA) and Travel Photographer of the Year, both of which came back in 2020.
