VietNamNet Bridge - Nini Huong Nguyen is a name quite alien to Vietnamese painting circles but her works, which are on display at the "Life" exhibition at the Hanoi Fine Art Museum, are very attractive to the public.

Nini Huong Nguyen

Nini Huong Nguyen was born in Vietnam. Her family moved to Europe when she was 12 years old. She graduated as the best student from the International Fashion University of Esmod. In the role of a fashion designer, she has launched many collections in the cities of fashion such as Munich, Berlin, Milan and Paris.

As a model, she has worked for famous brands such as Hugo Boss, Gucci, Mango, Alberta and Dior. Not only with fashion, Nini Huong studied at the Art College in Germany and graduated as the top student of the Painting Faculty.

Starting with the painting career since 2007, the 25-year-old girl has found her own style and own way in art. Exhibition "Life" at the Hanoi Museum of Fine Arts introduces 25 paintings in total 200 works by Nini Huong.

A far cry from what people imagine about the life of a young international model, the paintings by Nini Huong express the profound, sophisticated looks of a young girl.

Nini Huong said her works revolve around ordinary topics of the daily life, which are sometimes not worthy for others to pay attention to. But apparently, people are spinning and living too quickly in the whirlwind of everyday things.

However, fertility in the paintings picture is a prominent factor in the creative theme of Nini Huong. The concept of a beautiful woman of Nini Huong is like the concept of beauty in the traditional beliefs of the Vietnamese people, but she expressed it in the language of modern painting.

With only 25 paintings, the audience can realize Nini Huong’s personality in painting.

Talking about her career, Nini Huong said she is pursuing aspirations to combine art and fashion for the beautiful applications of life. In Europe, her paintings began to catch attention of collectors.

Her paintings will be on display at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts until December 18.
