VietNamNet Bridge – Hanoi T&T is the first V-League champion that received the FIFA President’s congratulation.

In a letter to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Chairman Nguyen Trong Hy, FIFA President Joseph Blatter asked Hy to transfer his congratulations to the Hanoi T&T for its second V League championship.

FIFA President Joseph S.Blatter wrote: "I would like to convey my warmest congratulations to Hanoi T&T club; the team won the second championship in V-League and continued to add to its collection of impressive titles achieved in its young history."

FIFA President Joseph Blatter also sent his greetings to all the members of the club, from the coaching board to players, the technical staff and especially the fans. Mr. Blatter also thanked Hanoi T&T for its good performance for the fans and wished Hanoi T&T to reap new success in the future journey.

This is not the first time Mr. Blatter conveyed his congratulation to Vietnam’s football, but Hanoi T&T is the first V-League champion receiving the celebration.

In the past, Mr. Blatter congratulated the Vietnam national football team and a children’s street football tournament in Vietnam. Mr. Blatter came to Vietnam in 2008 to inaugurate the artificial football ground at the National Center for Young Football Training in Hanoi, which was partly funded by FIFA.
