Director: Éric Barbier
Casting: Yvan Attal, Bérénice Bejo, Jean-François Stévenin

Film synopsis:

“The last diamond” is the fourth feature by director Éric Barbie, who has been mad for heist movies since childhood.

This new movie is different from other crime film genre in the way that, the filmmaker deliberately mixes a love story into a dark mission.

The film is inspired by the real legendary diamond – Florentine. This is one of the rarest diamonds which has been missing since 1922.

In the film, the filmmakers also use another real diamond which is nearly as worth as Florentine.

That diamond is Little Sancy – the one worn by the wife of King Henri IV in the 17th century. This epic also mobilized more than 850 extras during filming in Belgium and Luxemburg.
