Four people from the same family died in a fire in Hà Đông District, Hà Nội, on Saturday morning.

The victims were a 67-year-old woman and her three grandchildren, aged 10, 8 and 4. The fire occurred in a three-storey house that covers 40sqm.

The police received news of the fire at 7.45am. They arrived at the scene five minutes later and began firefighting and rescue work.

On May 12, another fire occurred in a facility offering Japanese and Korean-styled tea services in Hải Phòng City, killing three people.

The authorities are investigating the causes of both blazes. — VNS
