Fireworks displays along with various entertainment activities will be held in HCM City to welcome the Lunar New Year.
HCM City will host dazzling firework displays across six sites in the city including Saigon River’s tunnel area, Cu Chi Tunnel in Cu Chi District, Rung Sac Square in Can Gio District, Lang Le-Bau Co historical site in Binh Chanh District and Nga Ba Giong Monument in Hoc Mon District.

The municipal people’s committee will also hold a revolutionary photo exhibition to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1968 Tet Offensive and the founding day of Vietnamese Communist Party on February 3.
Meanwhile, art light decorations have been planned for many major streets in the city during February.
Nguyen Hue Flower Festival, which will be opened on February 13, is slated to last for one month. During this time, the book street festival will be organised on Ngo Duc Ke, Dong Khoi and Mac Thi Buoi streets in District 1.
Tet flower markets are scheduled to take place at Tao Dan Park on February 10-21, at 23/9 Park, Gia Dinh Park and Le Van Tam Park on February 8-15.
A Tet Cake festival will be held.
