Mango, born on November 19, is the baby of Africa hippos raised and domesticated in Vietnam for more than two years.

The pregnancy and delivery were completely natural without intervention of the zoo staff.

Mango Garden is a semi-wildlife zoo developed at an ecotourism site of the same name. Many rare animals from all over the world have been brought here for conservation, breeding, education and public entertainment. 

The zoo also has many rare animals from Africa, including the black leopard, rhinoceros, brown bear, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, arapaima gigas, and feathers such as peacocks, Lady Amherst’s Pheasant, flamingos, and swans.

This ecotourism site is a popular weekend and public holiday destination for many people, conveniently located just an hour drive from HCM City.

The zoo is located on 537 Dinh Quang An Street, Phuoc Tan Commune, Bien Hoa City and the representative office on 39/6 Tran Nhat Duat Street in HCM City’s District 1.
