VietNamNet Bridge –Troupes around the nation will have an opportunity to take part in a comedy festival this month, run by the Viet Nam Stage Artists Association.

"We chose Quang Ninh because the province attracts thousands of tourists and local people have great interest in arts performances," association president Le Tien Tho said.

Those performers judged the most creative will receive medals.

The festival, expected to be held every two years, aims at bringing together and evaluating the national comedy performances as well as providing orientation for the association's scenario writing camp.
