The first international-standard library for children in Vietnam opened at the National Library of Vietnam in Hanoi on November 16.
The library is part of the National Library of Vietnam at No 31 Trang Thi street in Hanoi The library provides books in different languages for children aged between 3 - 13 The library is a cooperation between the National Library of Vietnam and the Republic of Korean International Cultural Foundation The Vietnam Children's Cultural Library is built on the ocassion of the 25th founding anniversary of Vietnam-Republic of Korea diplomatic ties and the centenary of the National Library of Vietnam The 240sq.m library provides about 2,000 books in Vietnamese, Korean and English Apart from books, children can also improve their knowledge through musical instruments, toys and films at the library The facility is a new-style library model that combines book reading with culture experiencing activities
